Multi media artist David Moquay’s work merges tradition and technology ranging from international time lapses, aerial documentaries, and digital photography in print and projection. His work includes fashion, theater, architecture, design, portraits, photography and production work for Hollywood films, television, and music videos.
Moquay’s aesthetics and fluency in new media techniques define his style and can be recognized in collaboration with contemporary pop icons such as Lady Gaga in her “Born This Way” video (best MTV and MTV European Video Awards, 2011), Kanye West, Jennifer Lopez and Madonna, as well as, videos for Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, documentaries of Trap Door Theater performances in Eastern Europe; and aerial film capturing the world of professional skydivers. He has exhibited his international time-lapse photography videos for New Gallery (NY), Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (AZ), Santa Cruz Film Festival (CA), and Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History (CA).
